In-person or online?

I have gone through the guidelines for the event and I can say with surety that the final results are going to be online and in-person. But can you confirm, whether the participation is also in-person/online or is it just online (through the Devpost platform)? Also, can you please clarify the final winner announcement thing? Is it a compulsion to travel to the in-person destination to be eligible for a prize or the winner can attend the session online also?

Please confirm the two things so that I can have some clarity on the entire schedule! By the way, is there any Slack/Discord server for the event (apart from Devpost)?

    Great questions!

    All projects needs to be submitted via devpost.com in order to be judged for the DeveloperWeek Hackathon. We will host tables in person for participates to work on their projects and ask sponsors questions.

    We will announce all the winners on Friday, Feb 23 on DeveloperWeek Main Stage at 3:30 PM (PT). If you are not available in person, you will receive an email from Devpost.com on your win. Sponsors will reach out to you within 48 with your prize(s).
